|1998 was the beginning of a young 14 year old driver by the name of Alan Vochaska. He first began racing in a Limited Late Model (LLM) that belonged to Michelle Sexton at the Kalamazoo Speedway (Kalamazoo, MI) in a test session. Vochaska showed promise and during the winter Alan and his dad started putting together a LLM to compete at Kalamazoo Speedway for the 1999 season.|
1999 the Vochaska racing team finished 13th in points and the 2000 season ended with a 8th place points finish.
2001 Team 34 brought out some big guns that included a brand new Port City Chassis and Dowker Race Engine and recorded 4 feature wins, a win in the annual Super Shoe and the Limited Late Model Track Championship at Kalamazoo that saw over 50 cars each night.
2002 Vochaska Racing changed from the asphalt of Kalamazoo to the clay oval speed plant that is the Hartford Motor Speedway (Hartford, MI) after a very controversial 2nd place points finish at Kalamazoo. They took the old pavement car and converted it a dirt at won the Open competition Late Model show at Hartford in only Alan 4th career start on dirt.
During the winter of 2002 Vochaska Racing bought a 2001 Rayburn Chassis and ran the car as a Limited Late Model at Hartford Speedway taking home 13 feature wins (8 in a row), and the LLM Track Championship in 2003.
Team 34 changed gears for the 2004 season to compete at the half mile I-96 Speedway (Ionia, MI). At Ionia Alan earned 1 top 5 finish and 1 B-main victory while making occasional visits at the Hartford Speedway and claimed 3 feature wins there.
2005 brought team 34 back to Hartford Motor Speedway full time, occasional visits to the Butler Battlegrounds (Quincy, MI), 1 visit to the Crown Point Speedway (Crown Point, IN), and 1 race down at Eldora (Rossburg, OH) for the UMP Fall Nationals with a brand new Masterbilt Chassis. At Butler Vochaska scored 1 feature win. Hartford was more kind to Alan and the team as they brought home 2 feature wins and the 2005 track and state UMP Late Model Championship.
2006 seen Vochaska a repeat performance of 2005 when the team clinched a second straight UMP Late Model State & Track Championship at Hartford Motor Speedway. Along the Championship the team visited victory lane 3 times plus the Topless Late Model show up at the I-96 Speedway.
2007 saw a special moment for Vochaska Racing as Alan made the feature for the high profile UMP Fall Nationals at the Eldora Speedway for the first time. The Nationals capped off a highly successful season that saw Alan and team rack up another track Championship at Hartford plus a 3rd straight UMP Late Model State Title.
